Was disfellowshipped in my area (Central Coast, Australia) and it's sending shockwaves throughout the congregations. What's the protocol in this situation? Has anyone experienced anything like this happening?
I'm aware of Ray Franz, but I'm sure they tried to hush hush most of that. For something like this they can't just announce his DF status and move on, a lot of people are going to be 'stumbled' and demand answers I'd imagine. This is good for me however, I can just sit back and eat popcorn for the next week. Haha, they're definitely about what's been happening in the hall. I remember one time we had the local needs about 'doing everything that leads up to sex is still sex and you are hurting Jehovah' and I sent a simple 'lol' text to my friend in the hall who it was obviously about. A couple months later there was a local needs on substances harmful to the body, namely weed and cigarettes. Got the same message back from the same mate during the meeting.
